Ahmed Balawi

Ahmed brings over 23 years of distinguished experience as an Engineering, Design, and Digital Manager, successfully delivering complex and iconic projects across the MENA region. He is renowned for establishing and leading one of the region’s pioneering Virtual Design and Digital Construction departments in 2009.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, complemented by a Diploma in Data Science and certification as an Agile Practitioner, Ahmed seamlessly integrates technical proficiency with strategic vision. Passionately committed to innovation, he actively explores emerging technologies and management strategies, identifying their potential disruptive impacts on enhancing business performance and revenue opportunities.

In addition to practical industry leadership, Ahmed contributes significantly to academic and professional communities. As a respected member of the Architecture Department Advisory Board at Sharjah University, Ahmed consistently guides and influences the next generation of engineers and architects, ensuring alignment between academic developments and industry needs.
